Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead in Minnesota to be the face of our brand, guiding customers through a friendly, knowledgeable eyewear journey. This role emphasizes optics knowledge, service excellence, and bold, human interaction with patients and shoppers.

The position supports achieving sales goals, provides product recommendations, and participates in training to stay current on eyewear options and vision care services. Part-time role with benefits.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other)
• ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products/services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training to ensure right first time
• Perform day-to-day store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear

Pay Class:Part Time

Pay Rate:$11.41 - 15.13 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
