Sales Lead - FT
Position Objective:
The Sales Lead is responsible for supporting management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, where our values and guiding principles are at the forefront of all store operations. Functional Responsibilities:
- Drive for Results
- Establishes and communicates clear expectations, holding store team and themselves accountable for achieving all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
- Performs and oversees basic operational activities such as opening and closing duties, and merchandise flow processes.
- Supervises associates engaged in sales, inventory receipt, cash reconciliation, or customer services. Utilizes weekly schedules for proper floor coverage within fiscal guidelines. Maintains knowledge of current sales and promotions; presents and displays merchandise accordingly.
- Maintains standards in merchandise handling, presentation, loss prevention, and other duties as directed by management.
- Develops a high-performance culture, motivating the sales team to meet sales and productivity goals; meets personal sales goals.
- Trains and coaches team members on product knowledge, both online and in-store.
- Assists with locate fulfillment and selling activities.

- Motivates and inspires the store team, promoting a shared vision and modeling core values.
- Encourages an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Communicates effectively with store teams and management to lead positive change.

- Customer Experience
- Models, teaches, and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a cohesive omni-channel experience.
- Uses various techniques and product knowledge to meet sales expectations; assists customers in locating or selecting merchandise based on their needs.
- Builds and maintains customer relationships through clienteling and wardrobing.
- Ensures prompt resolution of customer concerns.
- Maintains a fast and efficient register experience, staying current on policies regarding payments, returns, exchanges, and security.
- Maintains consistent client communication via customer books, rewards, and sign-ups.
- Talent Development
- Supports and follows up on training programs and seminars.
- Assists in developing store associates, interpreting KPI reports, and providing coaching and feedback for performance evaluations.
- Drives team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Ensures adherence to employment practices and policies.
Other duties as assigned. This position may vary across different brands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to learn and adapt to company technology
- Knowledge of store operations and administrative tasks
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication with customers
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements:
- Constant walking/standing (67-100% of shift)
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of shift)
- Frequent climbing (34-66% of shift)
