General Summary

The Lead Sales Associate helps maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. The duties include assisting customers, operating a cash register, stocking merchandise, cleaning, and other duties assigned by the Store Manager to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Lead Sales Associates perform the duties of a Sales Associate and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

DUTIES And ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, assist with merchandise, and handle transactions.
• Receive, open, unpack, stock, and display merchandise.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with planogram implementation.
• Open and close the store as directed.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

• Effective communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies.
• Ability to follow planograms and merchandise displays.
• Mathematical skills for transactions.
• Cash register proficiency.
• Knowledge of cash handling and safety policies.
• Ability to drive for bank deposits.

Work Experience and Education:
