Chico's in Lexington, KY is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and model our brand standards. You’ll help create a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects our hospitality, guiding daily activities and driving team performance.

You’ll train and coach teammates, manage operations like cash handling and inventory, and ensure smooth scheduling. The role emphasizes omni-channel service, strong product knowledge, and a culture of teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
