Jockey is seeking an energetic Sales Lead (Key Holder) to join our team at our San Marcos, TX location. As a Sales Lead, you will provide excellent customer service following Jockey’s service principles, focusing on achieving store goals and maximizing sales. You will also assist with opening and closing the store.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

• Provide feedback, coaching, and direction to the store team.
• Greet all guests warmly and sincerely, sharing current promotional messages and suggestive selling.
• Engage with guests to identify their needs and utilize product knowledge to offer suitable solutions.
• Promote company programs (e.g., Rewards participation, satisfaction guarantee).
• Encourage awareness and excitement to grow Jockey Rewards membership.
• Assist in driving store sales, goals, and profitability.
• Perform sales transactions, including ringing purchases and processing payments.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of Store Management, including opening and closing the store.
• Assist with merchandising, stock management, markdowns, and visual standards.
• Protect the security of cash, inventory, and other assets according to policies.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Support hiring and recruiting efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED:

• 1 year of management experience.
• Three years of retail or customer service experience, demonstrating a passion for guest service and sales.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to lift and move 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, including repetitive bending, standing, twisting, squatting, and using a ladder.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals.
