Job summary

böhme is a leading lifestyle women’s fashion retailer with a focus on affordable, on-trend merchandise. This Sales Lead role partners with the Store Manager to maintain excellent customer service, strong merchandising, loss prevention, and operational tasks in the Boise-area store.

Hours are 15–29 per week, with weekend shifts required. You will supervise staff, drive sales, manage cash handling, and ensure a high standard of store presentation and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• At least one-year supervisory or leadership experience or equivalent education.
• Excellent organization, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work POS, and other store computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including handling cash deposits to the bank.
• Keep the sales floor, backroom, cash wrap, and other areas organized.
• Provide Gold Star customer service and lead the team in sales.
• Lead the team in achieving sales goals and KPI benchmarks.
• Handle cash transactions, discounts, exchanges and returns.
• Assist with receiving, inventory control, and merchandising.
• Complete price adjustments and markdowns.
• Uphold loss prevention standards and protect store assets.
• Report concerns to the Store Manager and participate in leadership training.

About the role

A Sales Lead is an outgoing member of leadership who works in conjunction with the Store Manager to maintain excellent customer service, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and operation assignments as outlined by the Store Manager and Field Leadership.

Hours: 15-29 (must be willing to work weekends)

What you’ll do

• Responsibility for all store opening and closing procedures, including taking cash deposits to the bank
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of sales floor, backroom, cash wrap and all other areas of the store
• Customer service. Provide Gold Star service to all customers and lead the team in sales
• Lead the team by achieving sales goals and KPI benchmarks
• Cash register efficiency. Including cash handling, discounts, exchanges and returns
• Product receiving, processing, inventory control, and product merchandising
• Complete price adjustments and markdown processes
• Uphold loss prevention standards and secure store assets and property of böhme
• Report any customer or employee concerns / incidents to Store Manager
• Participation in leadership development programs, meetings, and completion of training materials
• Performs all other duties as assigned
