Job summary

1915 South is seeking a Sales Lead to guide floor operations, drive customer engagement, and coach associates toward delivering a memorable shopping experience in Flowood. You’ll lead in the absence of a manager and help execute store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail furniture sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store floor operations and assist in coaching and development.
• Drive sales through customer engagement and upselling.
• Manage inventory, promotions, and cash handling.
• Oversee facilities and adherence to store standards.
• Lead meetings, report KPIs, and participate in training.
• Support Bedding Finance / Protection Finance as needed.

Position Summary:

The Sales Lead actively sells while providing floor leadership in the absence of a manager. Compensation is driven by individual sales performance, with bonus opportunities tied to coaching effectiveness and associate development.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Experience: Retail sales, specifically furniture, preferred

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Physical Demands: Standing/walking for extended periods; occasional lifting
• Work Environment: Retail Sales Floor
• Schedule: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays, as required
