Job summary

Ally Logistics is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Intern to gain hands-on experience across the full sales cycle over a 12+ week period. You will receive mentorship from top sales reps and leadership, with comprehensive training across both Sales and Operations.

Summer 2027 start dates are available, and the role is on-site. You will develop skills in customer-facing sales, lead generation, presentations, and strategy development, while collaborating with the Operations team to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
• Prior sales internship experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Lead Generation: conduct cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to set up meetings.
• Customer Relationship Building: source and nurture new customer relationships.
• TMS Management: build and manage loads within the TMS.
• Sales Presentations: participate in sales presentations with your Sales Coach.
• Dashboard Creation & Sales Shadowing: assist in creating dashboards and shadow leadership.
• Operational Support: assist scheduling, tracking, and follow-up on active shipments.
• Collaboration with Operations: work with the Operations Team on load assignments and updates.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain records and reports on account activities and shipments statuses.
