Job summary

Olin is seeking a Sales Intern for Summer 2027 in Houston, TX. Enrolled students will support Commercial teams with customer relationships, market analysis, sales planning, and business development initiatives.

The internship offers hands-on experience in sales strategy and customer engagement, with a 40-hour work week and housing stipend. Undergraduate interns earn $25 per hour, graduate students $33 per hour, and all terms require legal work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in Marketing, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines)
• Official transcript required each term; cumulative GPA used in transfer situations
• Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation and be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, defined at rotation start
• Analyze customer, market, and sales data to identify trends and insights
• Support customer relationship management including records, reports, and communications
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and support sales strategies
• Prepare presentations, reports, and materials to support sales planning and commercial decisions
