Job summary

Blue Diamond Materials, a unit within Sully-Miller Contracting Co. and part of the Colas USA family, is seeking a Sales Intern to support the Sales department and gain a foundational understanding of material products and their applications.

The intern will provide superior customer service, identify new business opportunities, prepare quotes and pricing, maintain customer records, and shadow the Sales team at various job sites across Southern California.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing a college degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service by understanding and meeting client needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Prepare and submit accurate quotes, contracts, and pricing strategies for projects.
• Maintain detailed customer records using automated systems.
• Shadow Sales team members and travel to various jobsites to gain hands-on experience.
• Monitor market trends and product innovations to support sales initiatives.
