Job summary

Daktronics is offering a Product Demonstration Technical Intern position in Brookings, SD. You will engage with customers in demos, travel to events, and support field service and control system activities while learning Daktronics products and practices.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting during demos, designing test setups, and contributing to the intern group. 40 hours/week, some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; able to communicate with non-technical customers
• Able to take a semester off to complete the internship
• Must commit to 40 hours per week with overtime for events and travel
• Unofficial transcripts must be submitted with application

Responsibilities

• Learn about our product and how to interact with customers in demos, at events, or in the field.
• Shadow Field Service Engineers, Technical Services, and Control System Specialists.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during demonstrations.
• Design setup and test display systems prior to shipment.
• Contribute to Daktronics Intern Group and attend events.
• Build and maintain professional relationships.
