Job summary

United Rentals in Louisiana is seeking a Branch Sales Intern to learn the sales process by spending time in both inside and outside sales with a focus on customer service excellence. You will gain invaluable industry knowledge with the goal of becoming a Sales Associate after graduation.

Responsibilities include safety training, branch operations support, and shadowing sales roles to understand duties and customer priorities.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn the branch sales process through inside and outside sales exposure.
• Support customer service excellence and assist in daily branch operations.
• Shadow inside and outside sales roles to understand responsibilities and customer focus.
• Gain familiarity with RentalMan and Salesforce systems.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by the team.
