Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Sales Intern (Paid) for the Westlake, LA branch. You will learn the sales process through inside and outside sales exposure while focusing on customer service excellence. The role leads toward a Sales Associate position after degree completion.

You will participate in safety training, assist with branch yard operations, and gain hands-on experience with RentalMan and Salesforce.com while joining cross-functional meetings and ride-alongs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety training and PPE adherence.
• Support branch yard operations: equipment check-in, washing, customer assistance.
• Shadow inside and outside sales to learn roles and responsibilities.
• Receive training on RentalMan, Salesforce.com, and related systems.
• Attend departmental meetings, ride-alongs, and conference calls.
