Job summary

Daktronics seeks a Sales Intern in Madison, WI, to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge digital LED display technology and related sales activities. You will shadow the sales team, demonstrate products, visit customers, and attend trade shows while developing your understanding of our products and industry practices.

The internship runs from January 11, 2027 to August 13, 2027, with flexibility for academic calendars.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal; knowledge of Spanish or French is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Learn sales strategies including inside sales, B2B, service sales, and advertising sales.
• Shadow our professional sales team, demonstrate products, visit customers and attend trade shows, give customer presentations.
• Conduct research, generate and track leads, learn sales operation processes.
• Contribute to Daktronics Intern Group activities such as monthly luncheons and recruiting events.
• Experience manufacturing through production rotation and build professional relationships.
