Job summary

Randa Apparel & Accessories invites applications for a Sales Intern position in Chicago, IL. This 10-week program exposes you to Sales and Sales Planning functions, with daily hands-on activities supporting the team.

You will shadow sales staff, assist with samples and reports, attend meetings, manage samples, and learn forecasting and inventory basics while working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment on-site.

Qualifications

• Sales or Business Majors a plus.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program.
• Must be available to work on-site, Monday through Friday.
• Able to commit to the full duration of the internship program (10 weeks).
• Thrives in collaborative settings and understands the value of cross-functional alignment.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
• Looking to gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Assist with pulling samples and reports for internal/customer meetings.
• Attend weekly meetings.
• Own sample management ( i.e. maintaining assortment boards, receiving and sending PP/TOP samples).
• Exposure to OTB and Inventory Management processes.
• Work closely with the Merchandising Department based on Sales needs.
• Work with Sales to manage PO activity for each customer and category.
• Learn the fundamentals of forecasting and projections for our product categories.
