Job summary

Forvia is looking for a year-round Sales Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. You will support the development of intimate relationships with Customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs) through regular visits, minutes, and relationship building.

You will help prepare commercial offers, costing, pricing, and negotiation paths; formalize offers and understand contractual guidelines. Strong Excel skills and financial awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of intimate relationships with customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs).
• Regular visits with preparation and minutes; build relationships with key staff.
• Assist in preparing commercial offers and understanding costing files; propose pricing and negotiation paths.
• Formalize offers and ensure contractual guidelines are followed.
• Help preparing and negotiating commercial answers to ECRs; understand piece price, tooling and D&D impact.
• Follow the variable cost margin of the products and prepare productivity proposals.
• Understand local economics and sales administration guidelines (POs, invoices, terms, overdues).
• Commercial management for Spare Parts and Prototypes.
