Job summary

FORVIA is seeking a year-round Sales Intern for its headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The role focuses on supporting customer relations across Purchasing, Engineering, and Programs, including regular visits, meeting minutes, and preparing timely offers.

You will help with cost understanding, pricing strategy, and negotiating paths to convince customers. You will also assist in handling ECRs, tracking pricing impacts, and ensuring adherence to sales administration guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support development of relationships with Customer contacts (Purchasing, Engineering, Programs) through regular visits, preparation, and minutes.
• Assist in preparing commercial offers by understanding costing files and targeting pricing and negotiation paths.
• Assist in handling Engineering Changes Requests (ECRs) and assess piece price, tooling, and D&D impacts.
• Monitor local economics (inflation, exchange rate) and support Sales Administration guidelines and processes.
