SPX is seeking a 2027 summer intern to gain hands-on experience supporting customer relationships, analyzing sales data, and driving initiatives that directly impact revenue growth.

This internship is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Communications who want exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing environment and the opportunity to learn from experienced sales professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Occasional hours outside normal work hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Keyboarding/typing and ability to read from screen or paper.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and update the sales CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) with accurate data and pipeline information.
• Support the development of sales presentations, proposals, and internal/external reports.
• Conduct customer and market research to identify opportunities and benchmark performance.
• Track leads, monitor order progress, and follow up on inquiries with reps and managers.
• Coordinate customer meetings, webinars, and other sales-related events.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to support the sales process.
