Riesterer & Schnell is seeking a Sales Intern to support our retail equipment sales team in Pulaski, WI. You will assist customers, shadow Sales Representatives, and participate in equipment demonstrations and marketing activities.

The role offers exposure to sales, service, and parts departments while building knowledge of equipment, technology, and dealership operations in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Marketing, or related field.
• Previous farm machinery or retail experience welcomed but not required.
• Strong communication and customer-focused attitude; proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in purchasing turf and compact equipment and follow up after sales.
• Shadow experienced Sales Representatives to learn the selling process and relationship development.
• Help with equipment inventory audits and display setup for demonstrations and marketing.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers.
• Gain proficiency in precision agriculture technology and dealership software systems.
• Exposure to parts and service departments to understand full dealership operations.

Job Details: Job Location: Pulaski - Pulaski, WI 54162, The Sales Intern supports retail equipment sales by assisting customers, shadowing Sales Representatives, and participating in equipment demonstrations, inventory management, and marketing activities. This role provides exposure to sales, service, and parts departments while building knowledge of equipment, technology, and dealership operations in a professional and safety‑focused environment.

Essential Functions

• Customer Engagement: Assist with retail customers in the purchase of turf and compact equipment and perform follow-up activities after sales.
• Sales Support: Work side‑by‑side with experienced Sales Representative to learn the selling process, relationship development, and negotiation skills.
• Inventory & Marketing: Assist with equipment inventory audits and help set up equipment for display and marketing.
• Demonstrations: Help conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to potential customers.
• Technical Integration: Gain proficiency in precision agriculture technology and company-specific software systems.
• Department Exposure: Receive exposure to other departments, such as parts and service, to understand the full dealership operation.
• Job Shadow Product Specialists, Service, Sales and PartsConducts work in a safe manner, wearing safety glasses & steel toed shoes and following all company safety rules and guidelines. Maintains work area in a clean, neat and safe manner. Attend meetings and training events as assigned. Presents a positive, professional image in dress and conduct at all times. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Previous experience with farm machinery or in a retail environment is welcomed, but not required.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a customer-focused attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.
