Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell’s Pulaski, WI location is seeking a Sales Intern to support retail equipment sales by assisting customers, shadowing Sales Representatives, and participating in demonstrations and marketing activities.

You will gain exposure to sales, service, and parts departments while building knowledge of equipment, technology, and dealership operations in a safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with farm machinery or retail is welcomed but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in purchasing turf and compact equipment.
• Shadow Sales Representatives to learn selling process and negotiation.
• Assist with equipment inventory audits and display setup.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers.
• Gain proficiency in precision agriculture technology and dealer software.
• Get exposure to parts and service departments to understand dealership operations.
• Attend meetings and training events as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and present a professional image.

Job Details: Job Location: Pulaski - Pulaski, WI 54162, The Sales Intern supports retail equipment sales by assisting customers, shadowing Sales Representatives, and participating in equipment demonstrations, inventory management, and marketing activities. This role provides exposure to sales, service, and parts departments while building knowledge of equipment, technology, and dealership operations in a professional and safety‑focused environment.

Essential Functions:

• Customer Engagement: Assist with retail customers in the purchase of turf and compact equipment and perform follow-up activities after sales.
• Sales Support: Work side-by-side with experienced Sales Representative to learn the selling process, relationship development, and negotiation skills.
• Inventory & Marketing: Assist with equipment inventory audits and help set up equipment for display and marketing.
• Demonstrations: Help conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to potential customers.
• Technical Integration: Gain proficiency in precision agriculture technology and company-specific software systems.
• Department Exposure: Receive exposure to other departments, such as parts and service, to understand the full dealership operation.

• Conducts work in a safe manner, wearing safety glasses & steel toed shoes and following all company safety rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:
