Job summary

Maersk in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sales Growth Associate to shape how our sales organization operates and drive growth. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, CX, and Global teams to align segmentation, coverage, and rhythms across North America.

This is a highly visible role combining strategy and execution, offering ownership, exposure to Maersk's global network, and opportunities to influence commercial priorities while building deep customer insights.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, sales operations, business development, sales enablement, program management, consulting, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to transform data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders.
  • Self-starter with autonomy and ability to handle ambiguity.

About The Role

The Sales Growth Associate helps shape and improve how our sales organization operates and drives commercial growth in North America. Working closely with Sales, Product, CX, and Global teams, you’ll help ensure we have the right customer segmentation, sales coverage, and operating rhythms in place to drive growth. You’ll play a key role in driving the review cycles and governance processes that help our teams prioritize opportunities, allocate resources effectively, and deliver growth results across our most important customer segments. You’ll also act as a key link between Sales and Product, helping bring product strategies to market, improving sales enablement, and ensuring customer feedback helps shape future priorities. This is a highly visible role that combines strategy and execution. You’ll work on some of our most important commercial initiatives while building a deep understanding of our customers, sales organization, and growth priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead commercial planning and customer programs
  • Help define how we segment customers, organize sales coverage, and prioritize growth opportunities.
  • Drive the operating rhythm behind our program customer review cycles, sales coverage reviews, and other key commercial processes to ensure the organization remains structured for success.
  • Lead the engagement model across functions, including how we track performance, review progress, and support growth within our program customer portfolio.
  • Support ad hoc strategic projects that improve commercial performance, strengthen capabilities, or advance organizational priorities.
  • Strengthen the Product and Sales interface
  • Partner with Product and Sales leaders to ensure go-to-market strategies are aligned and effectively executed.
  • Help equip Sales teams with the tools, messaging, insights, and enablement materials needed to successfully bring product capabilities to customers.
  • Gather feedback from customers and sales teams and ensure it is translated into actionable input for Product teams to inform future priorities.
  • Help identify and implement better Ways of Working between Sales and Product to improve decision making, collaboration, and commercial execution.
Who We Are Looking For
  • 3-5+ years of experience in strategy, sales operations, business development, sales enablement, program management, consulting, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to transform data and insights into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders, including senior leaders, and build strong collaborative relationships.
  • Comfortable managing several priorities while maintaining a structured and organized approach.
  • Self-starter and comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy, ambiguity, and changing priorities while remaining collaborative and team oriented.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bring clarity to complex topics.

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
