Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Sales GIS Analyst to support the Sales and Sales Engineering teams, creating data for Costing and Pricing. You will geocode, map, and verify data, using Salesforce and Google Earth to present design information for customers.

The role requires GIS education/experience, ArcGIS proficiency, data management skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced telecom environment with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS or related field with GIS experience or GIS certificate with 4+ years in GIS.
• Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS products (ArcMap & ArcGIS Online).
• Data management, analysis and interpretation proficiency.
• Understanding of telecommunications network design and fiber optics.
• Knowledge of small cell design and implementation.
• Strong organizational skills; able to work in a team and individually.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• SQL and Python knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure with a positive demeanor.
• Capable of handling high workload and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Use Salesforce to track account progress and update customer maps for specific accounts.
• Create presentation maps with Google Earth to display design information for customers.
• Geocode and verify data integrity timely using Excel and Microsoft 365.
• Adapt to design process changes and new software to improve work quality.
• Maintain solid analytical and problem-solving skills and effective communication.
• Travel up to 20% and work flexible hours as required.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
