Job summary

Uniti is seeking a Sales GIS Analyst to support Sales and Sales Engineering by creating maps, tracking accounts in Salesforce, and ensuring data integrity with Excel and Microsoft 365. The role involves geocoding, data verification, and presenting design information to customers.

The ideal candidate has a GIS-focused degree or certificate with hands-on ArcGIS experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS or related field with GIS experience or a GIS cert with 4+ years GIS experience
• Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS products (ArcMap, ArcGIS Online) and data management/analysis
• Knowledge of network design/maintenance as it relates to telecommunications/fiber optics
• Understanding of small cell design and implementation
• Strong organizational, teamwork and multitasking abilities
• SQL and Python knowledge is a plus

About the Role:

The Sales GIS Analyst role is responsible for supporting multiple internal and external customers. They will assist the Sales and Sales Engineering teams, along with creating data necessary for the Costing and Pricing teams.

What You Will Do:

• Use Salesforce to track account progress and update customer maps related to specific accounts.
• Create presentation maps using Google Earth to display design information for customers.
• Geocode and verify integrity of data in a timely manner, using Excel and Microsoft 365 products.
• Adapts to design process changes and new software applications to adhere to and improve the quality of their work.
• Require a solid analytical aptitude, strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, good inter-personal relationship skills, positive attitude, and a high degree of integrity.
• Works flexible hours and travels as needed.
• Supports special projects assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
