Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings.

The clients for this position are in Florida and Alabama, with a preference for someone residing in either state.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the AVPs, Employer Account Directors, and sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth for Prime and the assigned Plan(s), including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and supporting account retention and strategy development.
  • Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline and post-bid discussions, and maintain reporting in Salesforce.
  • Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, ensuring accurate pipeline status and sales reporting in CRM.
  • Deeply understand Prime’s products, services, market, competition, and opportunities; communicate key messages effectively to client teams.
  • Educate client teams on industry topics, new products, and the competitive landscape; provide sales collateral and support.
  • Coordinate with the VP of Employer Group Sales on messaging, prospecting, and collateral development.
  • Conduct Go-to-Market meetings regularly, review outcomes, and implement product and service changes in collaboration with leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10 years of operational experience in PBM organizations.
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of managed care organizations.
  • Strong skills in opportunity evaluation, messaging, presentations, and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or relevant Master’s degree.
  • 4 years of implementation leadership in a PBM organization.
  • Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.
Physical Job Requirements
  • Up to 40% travel.
  • Constant sitting, hand use, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms.
  • Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
Reporting Structure
  • Reports to a Director in Sales.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000 based on experience and skills.
