About the team

As a Sales Executive, you'll be part of the FIS Private Markets sales team for Capital Markets North America. FIS offers robust applications and managed services for the illiquid alternative markets, automating middle and back-office processes for private equity and alternative investment firms. Firms rely on FIS services and solutions (Private Capital Suite, Digital Data Exchange, and Virtus) to meet their needs throughout the investment and investor lifecycle, including relationship management, reporting, monitoring, accounting, and investment management. This team is a close-knit group of self-motivated, high-achieving, and experienced sales professionals helping alternative asset managers scale their operations with industry-leading technology and services.

What you will be doing
  1. Selling to new and existing accounts in the Alternative asset management industry, leveraging your industry knowledge and understanding of our software and services.
  2. Selling multi-functional software solutions and services.
  3. Engaging territory and actively meeting or exceeding quarterly pipeline development, sales performance, and quota goals.
  4. Owning the client relationship at the C-level, creating opportunities within your assigned territory.
  5. Utilizing strong lead generation capabilities to penetrate clients at all organizational levels, including the C-suite.
  6. Adjusting sales approach and strategy based on client drivers to position yourself as a customer advocate, delivering persuasive presentations tailored to customer perspectives and product relevancy.
  7. Travel as required (please insert further FIS approved language).
What you bring:
  1. At least 8 years of successful new sales experience in the Private Equity and Alternative Investment space.
  2. A highly dynamic work ethic with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  3. A strong network and connections within the industry.
  4. A high level of motivation and software/technology acumen.
  5. A proven track record of prospecting, cold outreach, and successful selling.
  6. Location: NYC, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami, Atlanta, Denver, or San Francisco.
Added bonus if you have:
  1. Prior successful quota achievement.
  2. Knowledge of FIS products, competitors, or fund administration operations/sales.

FIS is committed to providing exciting career opportunities and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $122,760 - $202,560, depending on various factors including location, skills, and experience. Actual starting pay will be determined during the hiring process. This position may be eligible for bonuses and commissions.
