NXTPoint seeks a high-performing Sales Executive for the Final Mile/Home Delivery division. You will support the strategy and vision related to new business opportunities and customer diversification, establish and nurture new customer relationships, and support the development of sales strategies for future growth.
* Must have sales experience with white glove/final mile/home delivery logistics services for large and bulky home goods *
This role involves marketing the company's products and services to prospects within a designated territory, managing prospects/clients, and achieving sales goals within set timeframes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to perform all duties satisfactorily. Requirements include:
Education & Experience: College degree or equivalent work experience; minimum seven (7) years in business development within relevant sales roles; proven success in prospecting and securing new clients; familiarity with the territory. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
Travel: Willingness to travel frequently, possibly overnight, to support marketplace activities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong sales and leadership skills; ability to interpret client policies and contracts; excellent communication skills; customer service orientation; organizational and multitasking abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office; cross-cultural work ability; ability to interpret technical documents; report writing; presentation skills; numerical calculation skills; problem-solving ability.
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
The work environment is typical of an office setting, with moderate noise levels and climate control. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
