Job description

As Sales & Events Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the S&E department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role is to identify prospective customers and establish goals for key accounts by analyzing historical and other statistical information for market segment, account mix goals, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Assist customers with all inquiries and do follow up correspondence to ensure booking.
  2. Verify VIPs daily arrival to ensure priority room assignment and room amenities delivery.
  3. Research competition for management and maintain trace files for follow-up on leads.
  4. Be responsible for the execution of the Banquet Event Orders for accuracy and quality.
  5. Be responsible for maximum profits in sales of food, beverage, and space.
  6. Develop sales promotion ideas in conjunction with the Director of Sales & EAM Commercial.
  7. Assist in maintaining banquet, food and beverage cost for highest profit.
  8. Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort and spa and for Six Senses.
  9. Constantly assess marketing strategies and tactics to remain relevant and effective.
  10. Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  11. Operate the property consistent with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements and documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communications, product and service standards, host management practices, and budgetary controls are implemented, reviewed and maintained to ensure the successful operation of the hotel.
