Job summary

Pelazzio Reception Venue in Houston (Westchase) is seeking an energetic Sales & Coordination Assistant to join our event planning team. The role starts with venue tours, client communication, and contract sales, then evolves into end-to-end event coordination for weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events, and other celebrations.

You will work closely with operations, catering, and accounting to ensure flawless execution, manage scheduling and records, and provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Must reside within 15–20 minutes of Pelazzio Reception Venue (Westchase area).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as most events occur on weekends.
• Professional appearance and punctuality are a must.

Responsibilities

• Conduct venue tours, explain package options, and follow up to close sales.
• Manage client communication through email, calls, and in-person meetings.
• Assist clients in planning event details, preparing proposals, and coordinating logistics.
• Work with internal departments (operations, catering, accounting, setup) to ensure smooth event execution.
• Handle office tasks such as scheduling, payment processing, and maintaining accurate client records.
• Support event execution as needed — coordinating vendors and onsite details.
• Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after each event.
