The Opportunity

We are seeking a Sales Engineer – UxV to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams. You will provide tailored solutions, participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and support, and influence product development.

This role reports to the Principal Sales Engineer and is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location. It suits entrepreneurial technologists who enjoy customer interaction, travel, and adventure.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, training, and optimization.
• Become an expert on Silvus' radio and networking solutions and their advantages.
• Conduct product demonstrations and customer visits.
• Support troubleshooting and field failure analysis.
• Assist in product development and resource allocation.
• Travel approximately 50% for meetings and demos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field + 2 years experience, or High School Diploma/GED + 6 years experience in technical support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments like signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have or be able to obtain SECRET US Government security clearance within 12 months.

Note: U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts. Employment contingent on background check.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Linux, TCP/IP, wireless systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communications.
• Programming skills in C/C++ and strong communication skills.

Compensation

The pay range is $70,000—$100,000 USD, based on experience and qualifications. As a U.S. Federal Contractor, all candidates must be U.S. Persons (citizens or permanent residents).
