Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Remote Sales Engineer to own bookings and drive new business growth for a metal castings product line. This role is office-based but primarily uses virtual selling tools to connect with customers, enabling remote execution of the sales cycle.

You will prospect, qualify leads, build strategic sales plans, and manage RFQs from pre-call planning to close, while maintaining CRM accuracy and collaborating with plant engineers.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Inside sales or related experience, a track record of finding and closing new business is a strong plus.
• Technical aptitude and the curiosity to learn an engineered product.
• Strong listening, presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Daily CRM discipline.
• Self starter with energy, persistence and a competitive streak.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a prospecting and lead follow up plan across new and existing customers.
