Job summary

Ohio Transmission Corporation is seeking a Sales Engineer to engage with decision-makers and maintenance teams, delivering product presentations and startup support. You will analyze failures, drive performance programs, and build durable customer relationships across the OTC Pumps & Motor Technology group.

Ideal candidates bring engineering or business backgrounds, 3–4 years in pumps or industrial sales, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business preferred.
• 3 years in pump industry preferred or 4 years in industrial tech sales.
• Mechanical aptitude and rotating equipment knowledge a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Knowledge of API/ASME standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key decision-makers for OTC products and services.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance teams to identify solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers.
• Build rapport and conduct joint sales calls with manufacturers.
• Attend sales and company meetings as required.
• Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge.
• Support startup service and field inquiries as needed.
• Perform failure analyses of mechanical equipment and report findings.
• Manage equipment performance improvement programs and report quarterly results.
• Other duties may be assigned.
