Job summary

Robert Bosch Group, HydraForce division, is seeking a student entering their junior or senior year for a sales engineering internship in the United States. The role focuses on supporting distribution customers, coordinating sales processes, and aiding applications engineering with proposals and competitive offers.

You will document customer activity, utilize CRM systems, and analyze sales data to uncover trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Student entering junior or senior year in engineering-related degree programs.
• Fluid power or hydraulics coursework preferred.
• Internship experience in a manufacturing environment is useful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Distribution customers, coordinate, measure, report and manage sales processes.
• Assist Application Engineering on complex projects, developing proposals and offers.
• Document customer activity and leverage CRM to improve relationships and the customer experience.
• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes through data analysis.
• Open to intermittent US travel as required.

Job Description

• Responsible for supporting Distribution customers, as assigned.
• Coordinate, measure, report and manage sales processes to delight our customers.
• Become a trusted liaison between customers and HydraForce, for critical commercial functions, such as production support, product development, availability, performance, data analysis, etc.
• Generate and maintain regular reports on key sales metrics, providing actionable insights to the sales team and leadership.
• Proactively work with customers and internal resources in support of achieving customer excellence goals.
• Assist Application Engineering on complex projects, preparing proposals, developing our sales advantage with good, better, and best offers.
• Document customer activity and leverage CRM to improve relationships and the customer experience.
• Collect, clean, and analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes through data analysis and suggest improvements for increased efficiency.
• Open to intermittent US travel as required.

Qualifications

• Student is entering their Junior or Senior year from quality, mechanical, mechatronic, engineering technology, agriculture, electrical/electronic, and industrial engineering degree programs
• Undergraduate students that have had fluid power or hydraulics course work are especially encouraged to apply.
• Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment is useful, but not necessary
• Our preference is for students who have an interest in a sales engineering career

The US base hourly range for this position will be in between $18- $27 depending on the credits accumulated for the undergraduate students. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific hourly range during the interview process.
