Job summary
Ultimation Industries is seeking a technically sharp Sales Engineer to drive business development for Daifuku/Jervis Webb overhead and chain conveyor systems. You will identify opportunities, build relationships, and lead proposals from first contact to purchase order across automotive, warehousing, and industrial automation markets.
You will collaborate with engineering to craft technically sound, commercially competitive solutions, manage a pipeline, and travel as needed to customer sites.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial sales in conveyors or automation.
- Ability to read layouts and technical specs accurately.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecast discipline.
- Willingness to travel 25–50%.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for overhead conveyor systems across automotive, industrial manufacturing, warehousing, and material handling markets.
- Build relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, system integrators, and industrial manufacturers.
- Develop and execute sales plans for product applications across target accounts.
- Lead customer meetings, site visits, and technical/commercial discussions.
- Coordinate with Engineering to develop concepts, proposals, and scope documents.
