Job summary

Mark Anthony Group in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sales Analytics and Enablement lead to own data, reports, and tools that support the sales organization. The role focuses on building the data foundation, delivering KPI reports, and ensuring efficient tool usage across Salesforce CPG Cloud and Trax.

You will partner with IT and senior leadership to drive analytics, data integrity, and actionable insights, with a compensation package that reflects market rates including a bonus plan.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of proven sales and commercial analytics.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPG Cloud and Trax or similar image recognition applications.
  • Experience with data cloud / data lake, master data and data hierarchy alignment.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas) and other third-party software including Power BI.
  • Strong data visualization skills in PowerPoint / Power BI.
  • Strong presentation/communication skills (internally and externally).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain sales enablement tools, primarily Salesforce CPG Cloud and Trax platforms.

  • Manage data integrity and governance for all sales enablement platforms and align with other datasets.
  • Develop and implement store surveys aligned with M.A.D.E perfect store concept.
  • Partner with IT to ensure datasets and systems are integrated and provide analytics and insights.

The role is responsible for managing sales enablement tools and resources to support the sales enablement team. Plays a crucial role in understanding the sales process and establishing the data foundation, sales tools, and flow of information to align with our approaching to selling. The resources and analytics will fuel our unique selling approach identifying opportunities for field execution.

Accountabilities:

  • Establish the foundational layer to fuel sales growth through data and analytics and deliver suite of reports to align on KPIs, needs of business
  • Manage and maintain sales enablement tools, primarily Salesforce CPG cloud and Trax platforms
  • Align with senior sales and sales enablement leadership on strategic direction of sales tools and platforms
  • Manage data integrity and governance for all sales enablement platforms, ensure data is aligned internally with other critical datasets (i.e. depletions, retail sales, etc.)
  • Manage and maintain competitive image library andinternal POS to support image recognition software (i.e. Trax)
  • Proactively anticipate sales teams needs and deliver solutions to the organization to ensure our sales organization is working as efficiently and effectively as possible
  • Partner with IT to ensure datasets and systems are integrated and aligned to provide solid business analytics and insights
  • Develop and implement store surveys aligned with M.A.D.E perfect store concept
  • Volume (40%)

Own:

  • Development and maintenance of Salesforce and Trax datasets and tools to ensure efficient and effective use of tools and capabilities
  • Set up and maintenance of all assets related to sales enablement tools: data, images, surveys, etc.
  • Develop and evolve reporting and analytics, aligned with leadership’s objectives and goals

Influence:

  • Flow of information to/from the sales organization to identify opportunities and drive insights for the organization

Veto:

  • Role is more about influencing decisions through insights and recommendations rather than having direct authority to veto initiatives.

Critical Relationships:

  • IT project leadership, Data & Analytics teams
  • National Accts and/or key regional accts sales teams
  • Category Development Team
  • Sales Enablement team
  • Commercial Analytics team

Skills Needed To Be Successful:

  • Preferably 6+ years of proven sales and commercial analytics
  • Experience with Salesforce CPG Cloud and Trax or similar image recognition applications
  • Experience with data cloud / data lake, master data and data hierarchy alignment
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas) and other Third-Party software applications (Power BI).
  • Strong data visualization skills in PowerPoint / Power BI

Compensation:

Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.

  • Competitive annual salary from $98,000 to $125,000 based in Chicago, IL
