MidFirst Banking Center in Houston is seeking a Personal Banker Associate who will perform teller and personal banking duties, handling deposits, loan applications, and customer transactions with accuracy and integrity.

The role emphasizes relationship building, cross-selling banking products, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. On-site hours include weekdays and Saturdays, with weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals.
• Minimum 6 months of cash handling, processing of transactional payments, and/or point of sale experience in a retail sales or service environment and/or previous banking experience.
• Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers.
• Strong work ethic and high integrity.
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality.
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank’s expense.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment.
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs.
• Promote financial products and services.
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers.
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures.
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence.
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions.
• Support other employees as needed.
