A fantastic opportunity now exists to join the LiveU Sports Team! Due to the tremendous growth of the company, we are searching for a hard-working, driven candidate to join our successful Sales team. The role involves developing relationships and driving business in our Sports accounts, specifically focusing on sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, broadcast rights holders, and other related market segments in the United States.

Job Description

LiveU is the number one provider of end-to-end live delivery solutions to the broadcast and online markets. We are expanding our presence within the Sports market and are recruiting a Sales Manager for this purpose. Qualified individuals should have proven experience and effective business contacts within the sports industry in the United States, including with sports teams, conferences, leagues, digital media companies, and rights holders. The candidate will cover the West Coast region of the U.S.

Location : West Coast (remote)

Sales duties include but are not limited to :

  1. Utilizing consultative selling techniques to build, implement, and drive immediate sales, while establishing long-term relationships with accounts.
  2. Preparing bids, processing specifications, and delivering presentations.
  3. Serving as a solution-based consultant for accounts, including sales calls and presentations.
  4. Creating account action plans and setting/reaching revenue goals for designated product lines.
  5. Understanding all aspects of our business, including working with distribution channels, sales mechanics, market needs, trade shows, and sales strategies.
  6. Developing a pipeline of opportunities supporting personal sales goals.
  7. Having at least 10 years of experience selling solutions in the sports production market within the United States, with strong executive contacts.
  8. Possessing an in-depth understanding of sports teams, leagues, and conferences, and their daily operations.
  9. Demonstrating a history of sales achievements, including growth and new business development in technology solutions.
  10. Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  11. Being technically capable to demonstrate complex solutions and discuss technical features in detail.
  12. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree.
  13. Exhibiting excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  14. Having collaboration skills to build relationships.
  15. Possessing strong customer service skills for both internal and external customers.
  16. Being detail-oriented and organized.
  17. Having proficiency in computer and CRM tools (Microsoft Office, Salesforce).
  18. Experience in wireless network solutions, video solutions, mobile solutions, live production, satellite/fiber/IP video transmission, or cloud production is advantageous.
