About The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Director to join our growing market research firm. This role is pivotal in driving new business development while collaborating with leadership to establish and optimize sales processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with clients.

What You'll Do

New Business Development:

  • Identify and target small, medium, and large market research companies in need of market research services
  • Conduct outreach through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and industry events to generate leads
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their market research requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle

Collaboration With Leadership

  • Work closely with company leaders to develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Partner with the leadership team to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the sales function
  • Assist in the development of sales materials, presentations, and proposals

Sales Process Development

  • Collaborate to establish standardized sales processes and best practices
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance overall effectiveness

Market Research Insights

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our services
  • Gather and share insights from client interactions to inform product and service offerings

What We’re Looking For

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, with a strong emphasis on market research or related industries
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and fostering long-term client relationships
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Self-motivated with a strategic, results-oriented mindset and advanced problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40%

What To Expect

  • 1st Round: 30-minute interview with the Recruiter, followed by an aptitude assessment within 24-48 hrs
  • 2nd Round: 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
  • 3rd Round: 2 hours of interviews with the Hiring Team, onsite unless the candidate is remote
