We are seeking a Director, Sales, to develop and sell new members to our network in our Southeast Region. The position will create and maintain a continuous pipeline of potential new member agencies to present to the Leadership team. The qualified candidate will work closely with the broader team at Renaissance, both in and outside our Southeast Region, to successfully transition prospective agents into members of the Renaissance network.

The ideal candidate is someone looking for a fast-paced, high-growth environment in a well-funded company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prospect potential member agencies through in-person visits, phone calls, and partnering with our marketing team to develop new leads
  • Establish and build new relationships
  • Create and maintain a pipeline of prospective member agencies
  • Maintain all activities in the company CRM or other systems
  • Develop sales tools and execute prospecting plans
  • Research and maintain current information on the competitive marketplace
  • Maintain a high level of visibility in the defined territory, at industry events, and professionally represent Renaissance Southeast Region
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Proven experience with a track record of success in generating new business and building relationships rapidly
  • Familiarity with CRM practices and ability to build productive business relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Coachability: willingness to adapt to new sales approaches and desire for continuous improvement
  • Curiosity and preparation: learning about the prospect agency, their strategic priorities, challenges, and goals; effective questioning and listening skills
  • Work ethic: proactively pursuing the company mission with energy and discipline
  • Prior success and consistency: history of top performance and ability to follow and refine the sales process
  • Passion: enthusiasm that motivates others
  • Industry experience: understanding of the insurance ecosystem and ability to discuss market challenges and opportunities with agency principals
  • Adaptability: leading through change and adjusting approaches proactively
  • Sense of urgency: meeting deadlines and managing objectives to exceed expectations
  • Brevity and awareness: reading the room, modifying call scripts, and delivering impactful value propositions succinctly

Additional Compensation: Eligible for bonus/commissions
