Sales Director, East Coast & Key Accounts
Location: (Remote, Headquarters in El Segundo CA)
Territory: East Coast (EST Time Zone and Large Accounts Emphasis (US and Europe)
Direct Reports: None
Salary: Dependent upon location and experience
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday with requirement to participate in client meetings as needed.
Travel (expect one trip per month to trade shows, seminars and client/prospect visits)
Position
The role of the Sales Director is to qualify leads, influence prospects, and sign new clients. In addition, you would work closely with the Client Service Team to implement new clients, manage client expectations and identify additional needs within our existing client base.
Job Functions
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and clients.
- Qualify leads from website and trade shows.
- Leverage licensing contacts to build sales funnel
- Prospect and close new business within territory
- Gain five new clients in 2025 (8 months). Additional $200K from major accounts
- Support the Client Service Team throughout the implementation process. Manage client expectations to ensure successful implementations to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Service existing clients within territory (30+ companies DRM & RTS)
- Visit clients, attend trade shows, marketing events and local events, both virtually and in person when and where required.
- Promote the company conducting webinars, writing blog posts, and sales presentations to build the DSI brand.
- Maintain relevant contact databases in salesforce and Dynamics CRM
- Reply to request-for-proposals, generate quotes, perform initial product demonstrations, Create Statements of Work, Feature Requests and conduct contract negotiations.
Required Competencies
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of Products and Salesforce CRM.
- Excellent English, verbal and written skills. Other Languages a plus.
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail while handling parallel priorities.
- High degree of flexibility when accommodating shifting priorities.
- Problem-solving skills.
