Job summary

MASA seeks a field-based sales leader for Ohio to enroll and retain members, traveling to various locations within the state. You will report to the Regional VP of Sales and build a high-performing 1099 agent team while driving sales strategy and growth.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in leading 1099 sales teams, solid Medicare knowledge, and proven presentation and leadership abilities. A driver’s license is required; insurance license is not required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience leading and managing 1099 sales teams.
• Previous and successful sales leadership and management experience.
• Solid health insurance industry knowledge, preferably Medicare.
• Strong sales management experience and analytical skills.
• Proven presentation skills for group or seminar settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with individuals and groups.
• Driver's license required.
• Insurance license not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall sales strategy, coaching, and development of the sales team.

This is a field-based position covering the state of Ohio.

What You Will Do

• Lead the overall sales strategy, coaching, and development of the sales team.
• Provide continuous feedback regarding individual and sales team progress.
• Conduct sales seminars provided by the company as well as self-generate new leads and sales.
• Coach on best practices for professional selling skills, effective supervision, and compliance.

What We Need From You

• College Degree preferred.
• 4+ years' experience and skills in leading and managing 1099 sales teams.
• Previous and successful sales, leadership, and management experience.
