Echo Global Logistics, Inc. offers an exciting 10-week internship designed to immerse you in a fast-paced sales environment in Nashville.

You’ll work on real-world opportunities, develop a pipeline through outbound calls, and learn from seasoned professionals while contributing to client and carrier solutions. During the program you’ll be paired with a Sales mentor, gain hands-on experience, and explore potential full-time opportunities in a collaborative, proactive team that embraces innovation

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at a university as a rising senior.
• No GPA requirements.
• Willing to work in Nashville office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week.
• Interest in logistics and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound calls.
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and Echo's logistics solutions.
• Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
• Maintain a strong sales funnel and provide a smooth handoff after close.
• Collaborate with teams and use Echo's sales tools to drive efficiency.

After your training, you will be partnered with a mentor within our Sales team. You will spend the summer learning both the logistics industry and the full process of becoming a rock star sales rep! We foster a passionate, driven sales force in the 3PL space, the fastest growing segment within transportation. Our reps stop at nothing to close business, offer solutions and solve problems for our clients’ diverse shipping needs.

Sales Development Representative Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound phone calls
• Lead discovery conversations to understand customer needs and position Echo's logistics solutions
• Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business
• Manage opportunities through the sales funnel and maintain strong pipeline discipline
• Set customers up for success through clear expectations and a smooth handoff after close
• Use Echo's sales tools and technology along with AI tools to drive efficiency and results

Requirements

• Must be able to start May 24th, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program
• Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship
• Able to work in our Nashville office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week
• No major or GPA requirements
