Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is offering a 10-week paid internship in Chicago, with a mentor pairing inside the Sales team. You will learn the logistics industry while supporting real-world client and carrier projects, culminating in opportunities for full-time employment.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, collaboration, and professional development within a vibrant, growth-oriented 3PL environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to start May 24, 2027 and complete the entire 10 week program.
• Currently enrolled at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after completion of internship.
• Able to work in our Chicago office 4 days and hybrid 1 day a week.
• No major or GPA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and manage account relationships
• Profile and analyze accounts to overcome any objections and generate quality opportunities
• Present the value of Echo's services to prospective and existing clients
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure world class customer service on every shipment
• Work in conjunction with teammates to prioritize and service customers in a timely fashion
• Monitor progress of shipments to ensure coverage, on-time performance and the resolution of any mid-transit issues

Spend your summer learning all the ins and outs of a sales team! After your training, you will be partnered with a mentor within our Sales team. You will spend the summer learning both the logistics industry and the full process of becoming a rock star sales rep!
