Position Summary

The Sales Development Representative drives growth by identifying and qualifying leads, ensuring strong pipeline development and smooth handoffs to account executives. This role engages prospects through proactive outreach and expert knowledge, supporting Empower’s mission to provide innovative medications for healthier, happier lives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify, engage, and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media while ensuring prompt responses to inbound inquiries within 24 hours to build a strong pipeline.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to align solutions with customer needs, maximizing potential revenue streams and scheduling meetings with account executives.
  • Maintain accurate lead records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, follow structured weekly plans, and adhere to sales processes for smooth handoffs and efficient follow-ups.
  • Track key metrics, participate in training, and meet or exceed key performance indicators, including call volume, lead response times, and scheduled meetings to improve conversion rates.
  • Maintain expertise in product offerings, compounding practices, and regulatory requirements to engage prospects with professionalism, build trust, and foster customer relationships.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Knowledge and Skills
  • CRM experience required, with Salesforce preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365, sales automation tools like Qualified.com, and strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional maturity, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing environments, meet deadlines, and deliver accurate customer service in both home and office settings.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of call center, customer service, or sales-related experience.
