About UsQ1 Healthcare Forums is an elite division of Q1 Productions and is a leader in healthcare-focused executive forums, bringing together industry decision-makers from the healthcare & life sciences industries for high-impact discussions and networking. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Development & Engagement Representative (SDR) to help build, maintain, and engage our growing database of potential attendees and sponsors. This position will report to the Director, Forum Operations. We welcome applications from both entry-level and experienced professionals eager to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting:
- Generate new leads for the attendee & vendor database, focusing on key market segments such as Finance, Revenue Cycle, Patient Experience, and Managed Care.
- Proactively identify and research potential leads through various channels (e.g., Zoominfo, LinkedIn, industry databases, online research).
- Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone, and social media to engage prospects and generate interest.
- Lead Qualification:
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria to determine their fit for our products/services and events.
- Set-up and schedule discovery calls between prospect and Q1 liaison to understand prospect needs and challenges.
- Effectively communicate our value proposition and address prospect inquiries.
- Sales Pipeline Management:
- Accurately record and update prospect interactions and lead status in Salesforce (CRM)
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads.
- Continuously update and maintain accurate and current information in the database
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and development strategies.
- Provide feedback to improve messaging and targeting.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.
- Performance Tracking:
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for outbound activities and qualified leads.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant educational background (e.g., bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications) OR 3+ years experience in sales development, database management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, preferably admin-level to assist with data integrity
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to research and find contact information.
- Ability to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry
- Experience with B2B (business-to-business) data and intelligence platforms such as Zoominfo, SeamlessAI, Outreach.IO, etc
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Salesforce Pardot, Linkedin Advertising, Zoho, Hubspot, etc)
- Travel Requirements: This position may require periodic travel to event locations, including overnight stays. Travel needs will vary based on event schedule, location, and staffing needs.
- Compensation: $45,000- $50,000 annually + bonus opportunities
