Role: Sales Development Representative

You will be responsible for growing our seller pipeline and meeting the needs of our buyers on Whatnot. We look for quick learners and self-starters who enjoy engaging with people, solving challenges, and identifying top sellers to join our platform.

  1. Understand our sales process and collaborate with the team to attract high-potential sellers.
  2. Prospect, identify, and qualify top sellers suitable for Whatnot.
  3. Address seller needs through creative outreach strategies, including email, calls, social media, and in-person events.
  4. Develop relationships with sellers and coordinate with internal teams to foster growth.
  5. Potential to advance into Sales Manager roles or other opportunities within our fast-paced growth environment.
Location Requirements

This role is US-based; team members should reside within 50 miles of our Los Angeles or New York City hubs.

Compensation and Benefits

Full-time US-based applicants: Salary ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 plus benefits and equity. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and level.

  • Work From Home Support (Office setup allowance, monthly cellphone and internet allowance)
  • Retirement plans including 401(k) with employer match up to 4%, and international pension plans
  • Parental Leave: 16 weeks paid leave plus a one-month gradual return to work, with allowances running concurrently with country-specific leave policies
