Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in a sales development, business development, customer-facing, or consultative role is preferred.
• Experience conducting discovery, needs assessment, or problem-solving conversations.
• Proven track record of high achievement in sales development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to qualify and prioritize high-quality opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration with sales partners.
• CRM discipline and comfort with sales tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage and qualify prospective customers through strategic outbound prospecting (calls, email, social), building trust and delivering value-based conversations.
• Conduct discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, and position Appcast’s solutions effectively.
• Generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads, ensuring accurate tracking and strong alignment with ideal customer profiles.
• Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive effective outreach, ensure high-quality meetings, and support smooth opportunity handoff.
• Meet or exceed prospecting and pipeline development targets through consistent, high-quality outreach.
• Embrace and effectively utilize emerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance prospecting, research, outreach, and operational efficiency.

TheSales Development Representative (SDR)drives early-stage pipeline growth by engaging prospects in consultative conversations,identifyinghiring needs, and generating qualified opportunities through strategic outreach. Working closely with Account Executives, the SDR builds a strong pipeline and ensures smooth handoff for successful sales outcomes.

*Candidates for this role will be required to be in our Newton, MA office 3 days a week.
