Job summary

Appcast, part of the Stepstone group, is seeking an SDR to drive early-stage pipeline growth from Newton, MA. You will engage prospects, conduct discovery, and generate qualified opportunities in a consultative sales environment.

The role requires 1+ year in sales development, strong communication, and collaboration with Account Executives and Marketing. On-site 3 days a week in Newton, MA with a culture focused on growth and innovation.

Job Description

At Appcast, we help employers improve how they attract and hire talent through data-driven recruitment advertising solutions. TheSales Development Representative (SDR)drives early-stage pipeline growth by engaging prospects in consultative conversations,identifyinghiring needs, and generating qualified opportunities through strategic outreach. Working closely with Account Executives, the SDR builds a strong pipeline and ensures smooth handoff for successful sales outcomes.

*Candidates for this role will be required to be in our Newton, MA office 3 days a week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage and qualify prospective customers through strategic outbound prospecting (calls, email, social), building trust and delivering value-based conversations.
• Conduct discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and goals, and positionAppcast’ssolutions effectively.
• Generate and manage a pipeline of qualifiedleads, ensuringaccuratetracking and strong alignment with ideal customer profiles.
• Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive effective outreach, ensure high-quality meetings, and support smooth opportunity handoff.
• Meet or exceed prospecting and pipeline development targets through consistent, high-quality outreach
• Embrace and effectivelyutilizeemerging technologies, including AI-powered tools, to enhance prospecting, research, outreach, and operational efficiency
