Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is a Fortune 200 diversified manufacturing company with seven decentralized business segments. Hobart Food Machines, a division of ITW Food Equipment Group, is seeking a Sales Development Manager to help grow the Hobart and Berkel brands in the commercial food preparation market. The business is headquartered in Troy, Ohio, 20 minutes north of the Dayton metropolitan area, and the candidate can live anywhere in the U.S.

This leadership position drives sales penetration through influence of a nationwide, distinguished field selling organization in Food Machines. You will target key National and Distributor accounts and develop action plans to grow share and meet sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver revenue and margin targets to maximize organic, incremental growth, including pricing and programming strategies.
  • Participate in quarterly reviews with key customers, reviewing KPIs and identifying account opportunities to increase share.
  • Segment customer growth opportunities, identifying the best fit for the business.
  • Influence manufacturing, engineering, sales, service, marketing, and administration to increase sales volumes and margins.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to customers and account managers, coordinating resources for selling processes and product rollouts.
  • Create and deliver product presentations to customers.
  • Be a technical product expert and train others through presentations and hands-on experiences.
Must Haves
  • Bachelor’s Degree with relevant work experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2B product selling or marketing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to develop sales, marketing, and pricing strategies.
  • Proven success in sales execution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
