Job description

At Coram AI, we’re reimagining video security for the modern world. Our cloud-native platform uses computer vision and AI to help businesses stay safe, make smarter decisions, and move faster; from real-time alerts to seamless clip sharing and multi-site visibility.

You’ll be joining an ambitious, fast-moving team that values clarity, craftsmanship, and impact. Every person here has a voice, ships meaningful work, and helps shape how AI can make the world safer and more connected.

The role:

Coram AI is hiring a Sales Development Managerto lead and scale our growing team of Associate Account Executives (AAEs).

Our AAE program is an accelerated sales development program designed to turn ambitious early-career talent into high-performing, full-cycle Account Executives. Rather than spending 2–3 years in a traditional SDR or BDR role, our AAEs are given significant responsibility from day one: building pipeline through outbound prospecting, partnering with experienced Account Executives on live opportunities, participating in customer conversations and demos, and developing the skills necessary to become an AE.

As the Sales Development Manager, you'll own the success of this program. You'll be responsible for coaching and developing AAEs, driving outbound performance and pipeline generation, creating accountability around activity and results, and preparing top performers for promotion into full-cycle Account Executives.

This is a hands‑on leadership position for someone who loves developing early‑career sales talent, knows how to build a high‑performance outbound culture, and can balance developing people with delivering results.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Associate Account Executives (AAEs)

  • Own team performance across outbound activity, qualified pipeline, conversion, and revenue goals

  • Coach AAEs on prospecting, cold calling, discovery, qualification, objection handling, and sales fundamentals

  • Run regular 1:1s, call reviews, pipeline reviews, and team trainings

  • Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, competition, continuous improvement, and winning the right way

  • Develop AAEs toward promotion into full-cycle Account Executive roles

  • Partner closely with AEs and Sales Leadership to improve performance and give AAEs exposure to the full sales cycle

  • Use data to identify performance gaps and continuously improve outbound strategy and team effectiveness

  • Help recruit, onboard, and ramp future AAE cohorts as the team scales

  • Build repeatable coaching, training, and development processes that scale with Coram

Skills and qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B technology sales, sales development, or SaaS sales

  • 1+ years of experience managing, coaching, or developing SDRs, BDRs, AAEs, or other early-career sales professionals

  • Demonstrated success building and managing high-performing outbound sales teams

  • Strong understanding of modern outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels

  • Proven ability to coach sales fundamentals, including cold calling, qualification, discovery, objection handling, and pipeline generation

  • Passion for developing early‑career talent and helping individuals grow into larger sales roles

  • Metrics‑driven mindset with the ability to identify performance gaps and turn data into actionable coaching

  • Proven track record of above‑target performance and commitment in previous roles

  • Resilient in challenging and fast‑paced environments

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence at all levels

  • Ability to work in an onsite environment

What we offer:
  • Competitive base salary + variable compensation ($130-180k OTE which includes base salary + variable compensation)

  • Early‑stage equity in a rapidly growing company

  • Clear opportunity to build and shape Coram's AAE program as the sales organization scales

  • Flexible paid time off and 10 paid holidays

  • Daily team breakfast and dinner, and regular team off‑sites

  • The latest Apple products and access to a best‑in‑class sales technology stack

  • 100% employer‑paid medical, dental, vision, and base life insurance

  • 401(k) with both Traditional and Roth options

  • The latest Apple products and unlimited tech stack (Claude Cowork, Perplexity Computer, Nooks, Clay, Instantly, etc.)

We're on a mission to transform a $50B+ legacy industry by bringing the power of cutting‑edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision to real‑world security and operations. From firearm detection to intelligent access control, our AI‑native platform turns every camera and sensor into a smart system that enhances safety, efficiency, and awareness.
