Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is seeking a Sales Development Manager to lead a high-volume, full-cycle sales team focused on driving new business growth in the SMB segment. You will coach, manage performance, and develop top sales talent while fostering accountability and measurable results.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize the customer experience, forecast rigorously, and accelerate revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a high-volume sales team.
• Proven track record of leading teams to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong coaching and performance management skills to develop sales professionals.
• Experience using sales metrics and KPIs to drive performance and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-volume sales team to achieve revenue goals.
• Drive team performance through coaching, pipeline reviews, and metrics.
• Improve sales effectiveness by coaching prospecting, discovery, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
• Monitor pipeline health and CRM accuracy to ensure disciplined execution and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Leadership to optimize customer experience.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development of sales talent.
• Identify process improvements and share best practices to elevate performance.
